How to link Aadhaar card with IRCTC account?

Linking Aadhaar Card With Your IRCTC Account: A Step by Step Guide

A person is allowed to book up to 6 train tickets at the ticket booking counters of the Indian Railways, or the railway reservation offices or on the IRCTC website every month. If you are a registered user of IRCTC (Indian Railways Catering and Tourism Corporation) you can book your train tickets online without having to leave your home or your office.
However, if you’ve linked your IRCTC account to your Aadhaar e-KYC you can book up to 12 tickets instead of 6 every month. The details of at least one additional passenger on the list have to be verified using the Aadhaar e-KYC.

The Aadhaar verified passengers have to be updated on the master list before you proceed to book the railway tickets through the IRCTC website. By adding the Aadhaar verified passengers from the master list you can book up to 12 additional train tickets every month.
