In case you are unable to download a copy of your Aadhaar online you also have the option to get it offline. You need to visit an Aadhaar Enrollment Centre closest to your location and use the service ‘Find Aadhaar’ to retrieve a new copy of your Aadhaar.
Step By Step Process Of Applying For A New Aadhaar Online
To apply for a new Aadhaar online you need to follow the steps given below.
You have to click on the right option from “You want to receive your lost- ‘Aadhaar Number (UID)’ or ‘Enrollment Number (EID)’”
Type in your full name, a mobile number linked to your Aadhaar and email ID
Enter the Captcha Code correctly
Select the ‘Get OTP’ option
An OTP will be sent to your mobile number linked with your Aadhaar and to your registered email ID
Type in the OTP at the required space on the page
Select the option ‘Verify OTP’
You'll receive a text message on your registered mobile with your Aadhaar number (UID) or your Enrollment ID number (EID) whichever you've requested.
Now log on to https://eaadhaar.uidai.gov.in/
From the option "I have" you need to select 'Aadhaar' or 'Enrollment ID'
You need to type in your Enrollment ID or your Aadhaar number at the required space
Enter your full name correctly along with your pin code and your registered mobile number
Enter the Captcha code and click on the option ‘Get OTP’
Type in the OTP received under the ‘Enter OTP’ option
Click on the option ‘Validate and Download’
An electronic copy of your Aadhaar will be downloaded on your computer/mobile phone.
