You can now get your Aadhaar reprinted as a PVC card (Poly Vinyl Chloride Card) and you can carry it around easily as you would carry your Debit Card or an ATM card. The UIDAI (Unique Identification Authority of India) has now permitted the Aadhaar holders to do so.
The Aadhaar card is issued to Indian citizens and residents by the
UIDAI. This ID contains a unique identification number along with the personal,
demographic, and biometric details of the individual. Today Aadhaar online eKYC
(Electronic Know Your Customer) is one of the most important of all steps for
doing all major financial transactions and for customer onboarding in India.
The process of eKYC is done through Aadhaar authentication.
Compared to the original Aadhaar card the PVC card is more durable
and convenient. The quality of lamination and printing on this card is also
quite good. Offline verification can also be done effortlessly using the QR
Code.
